Klein Collins High cornerback Jeremy Winchester is the latest to join California's 2014 recruiting class. The high 2-star corner actually committed to the staff silently three weeks ago, but told Rivals this week he's headed to Berkeley.
Winchester earned first-team all-district honors as a junior and has offers from almost a dozen schools, including BYU, Illinois, Kansas, Utah, and Wake Forest.
The Spring-native is the third Texas-area recruit in the Bears' 11-man class, joining RB Vic Enwere and DE Isadore Outing. He's also the fourth defensive back along with SAF Koa Farmer, SAF Quentin Tartabull, and DB Jaleel Wadood.
Winchester plans to take an official visit to Berkeley on September 14th to see the Bears take on No. 2 Ohio State.
