The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder had offers from the likes of Stanford, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Vanderbilt, and Nebraska.
The Lynnwood, Washington product -- who will in all likelihood be a Spring admit and immediately begin rehabbing an ACL tear he suffered at a camp in Corvallis at the end of July -- joins the class as an athlete and projects to play either defensive end or running back at Cal.
The 23rd ranked running back in the country and No. 2 player in the state of Washington ran for 1,266 yards and 23 touchdowns last year and helped the Hawks reach the postseason for just the second time in school history. He also had six sacks and 17 tackles for loss on the defensive side of the ball.
