Gutierrez, the 2012 Pac-12 Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year -- the only player to ever win both awards in the same season -- painted his name throughout the Bears record books during his storied career in Berkeley. He became just the second player in program history (Hall of Famer Kevin Johnson was the first) to record 1,000 points, 400 assists, and 400 rebounds for Cal. The guard completed his collegiate career ranked 20th in school history in career points (1,232), fifth in career assists (423), fifth in career steals (148), and fourth in career games played (129).
