Its Blue and Gold for Yarnway

Oakland (Calif.) native Dasarte Yarnway will do what it takes to help his team on the field. No more was that evident than in the CCS small school championship this season. Playing on a bum knee, Yarnway fought through the pain and helped his squad claim its first ever section title. Now, Yarnway will bring that same fire and grit to the Cal program as the 4-star running back inked with the Bears just moments ago.
There's nothing like going out a winner on the field, and in front of a nearly fullhouse at San Jose City College that night, the Sacred Heart Cathedral Fighting Irish did just that. Yarnway pounded runner-up Sacred Heart Prep in the battle of Bay Area Sacred Heart programs to the tune of 227 yards on 23 carries, pushing the Irish past the Gators 38-21. The Oakland native also scored two touchdowns.
BearTerritory.net will have much more on Yarnway's signing in the coming hours.
