The grandson of NFL Hall of Famer Willie Davis, David signed with Washington State out of high school in 2011, before transferring to LBCC at the end of 2012. In 2013, the 6'2", 295-pounder had two sacks this season to go along with 27 tackles, including three for loss.
A former first-team All-Bay League selection at Palos Verdes, Davis had offers from New Mexico, UTEP, Wyoming, Idaho, and Middle Tennessee this season, and strong interest from Illinois, Iowa State, and Colorado.
This weekend's official visit to Berkeley was the first and only visit for the DT, who will enroll in Cal in January and have two years to play two.
