Crawfords Commentary

In the fourth installment of Crawford's Commentary this spring, staff writer Ken Crawford catches up with last year's leading receiver Nyan Boateng. So far, the spring has been a "business as usual" month for the Brooklyn native, but there's no question Boateng is still one of the more talented and now experienced offensive weapons on the roster. Boateng caught a team-high 29 balls for 439 yards and 5 touchdowns last season and will likely at least match those numbers again this upcoming year.
In this interview, Boateng talks about his spring as well as working with new offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig among other topics. Crawford also includes his take on Tuesday's practice as well as quotes from head coach Jeff Tedford.
List of quotes in order:
Tedford on Lagemann's improvement
Tedford on Lagemann's injuries
Tedford on Seawright's return
Tedford on how close Seawright is to 100%
Tedford on defensive pressure affecting offensive rhythm
Tedford on difficulty of evaluating each unit during scrimmage
Tedford on windy conditions
Tedford on how wind affects practice
Tedford on what he hopes to get from last two practices
