California sophomore wing Allen Crabbe scored 26 points with six 3-pointers, as the Golden Bears (13-4, 3-1 Pac-12) surged past Oregon in the second half to win 77-60 on Sunday at Matthew Knight Arena in their first conference road win of the season.
Senior Cal guard Jorge Gutierrez poured in 18 points, while sophomore point Justin Cobbs added 15 for the Bears, who beat the Ducks (11-5, 2-2) for the eighth straight time.
Cobbs also dished out a game-high six assists -- two fewer than the entire Oregon team. Sophomore big man Richard Solomon returned to form with 10 rebounds and six points, along with three blocks, after a stress reaction in his left foot sidelined the 6-foot-10 forward for four games, and held him to just 11 minutes in the loss to Oregon State on Thursday.
Crabbe, who also had a game-high 12 boards, keyed a 23-5 run in the second half that put Cal up 55-38 with 8:55 to play. Crabbe scored 11 points during that stretch with three 3-pointers.
Crabbe finished 9-for-16 from the floor and 6-for-8 on 3-pointers. His only first-half points came on a 3-pointer that gave Cal a 20-17 advantage, which closed to a 30-27 halftime lead.
Devoe Joseph led Oregon with 14 points, E.J. Singler scored 12 and Olu Ashaolu had 10 points.
