34: Defensive rebounds for the Bears, who out-worked the Pioneers on the glass 37-26 in a 72-61 road win over Denver. After giving up a combined 26 offensive rebounds to Cal State Bakersfield and Pepperdine, Cal finally took care of its defensive glass, holding the Pioneers to just five extra chances. Justin Cobbs, Allen Crabbe, Brandon Smith, Ricky Kreklow, and Tyrone Wallace combined for 12 of Cal's 21 first-half boards, and David Kravish tallied a game-high 12 rebounds.
