The schedule for the Bears is now set entering the 2016-17 season. Cal is set to have 11 games televised by ESPN networks, tied for the highest in the conference by Arizona. Cal will also have multiple games on the Pac-12 Network, including their neutral court matchup against San Diego State at the new Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. Fox Sports 1 will provide coverage for the team's games at the Pearl Harbor Invitational, where Cuonzo Martin and company match up against Princeton on December 6th and Seton Hall on December 7th.
The biggest of the ESPN conference games appear to be road matchups against UCLA and Arizona on January 5th and February 11th respectively. The Bears meet the Wildcats at home on December 30th to open the conference slate, while they only play the LA school once each down south. The return matchup of Cal and Virginia will air on ESPN2 at 7 PM from Haas Pavilion.
Cal also added an exhibition game to their schedule against Cal Baptist, for which you can find the release for here. The Bears take on Cal Baptist on Thursday, November 3rd to start the year.
