Two sources confirmed to
BearTerritory on Monday evening that, although Los Angeles (Calif.) Price product
Kahlil Johnson has yet to send in his National Letter of Intent, he called
California basketball head coach
Mike Montgomery this evening to inform the Bears skipper that he wanted to be a part of his program.
After taking an unofficial to Cal last week, followed by an official visit to his childhood favorite school,
Arizona State, immediately afterwards, Johnson took just two days of thinking before pledging to the Bears, joining four-star guard
Tyrone Wallace and three-star big man
Kaileb Rodriguez, who signed during the early signing period.
Johnson has not yet been available for comment, but we'll have more on his commitment as soon as it's available.
