So much for Sunday being a day of rest.

Cal wrapped up a monster official visitor weekend with two commitments, first from 3-star College of San Mateo JuCo DT Trevor Kelly, and then again Sunday evening with Kelly's teammate -- safety Sam Atoe.
Atoe was a virtual must-get for the Bears, who had one of the most injury-riddled secondaries in the country last year -- 11 different players started in the Cal secondary and the Bears had the same four starting DBs in back-to-back games just three times in 2013.
The 6', 205-pounder is a high 2-star and had offers from the likes of TCU, Texas Tech, Nevada, Fresno State, and Hawaii. The sophomore finished with 41 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 2013.
Atoe visited both Berkeley, CA, Lubbock, TX, and Fresno, CA during the last two weeks before narrowing his options to TCU, Tech, and Cal last week.
In the one-time San Diego State commit, the Bears add their third defensive back along with safeties Koa Farmer and Quentin Tartabull.
