Lakewood (Wash.) Lakes four-star athlete
Cedric Dozier officially committed to
California today via his facebook page, saying, "Finally made up my mind … Committed to the University of California about 10 mins ago."
Bears coaches had gone out to see Dozier before facing off with another contender for the dynamic athlete's services --
Washington -- on Sept. 23.
Ace recruiter
Tosh Lupoi traveled to see the second half of Lakes' game, viewing both Dozier and teammate
Zach Banner.
Back in June, Dozier -- who sources say will come in as a wide receiver -- came down to California to throw with four-star quarterback commit
Zach Kline.
At 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, Dozier had scholarship offers from the Bears, Huskies,
Oregon,
Arizona State and others.
Dozier will participate -- like so many other Cal commits before him -- in January's U.S. Army All-American Game in San Antonio.
Stay tuned for more on the commitment from BearTerritory.net.
