Matt began his career at Rivals in 2011 as recruiting editor and then publisher for Arizona affiliate, GOAZCATS.com. In 2022, he moved into an expanded role covering Pac-12 recruiting for Rivals.

Cal will open spring practice Monday morning as the Bears hit the field to begin the early preparations for the 2024 season and their move to the ACC. Friday, head coach Justin Wilcox, running back Jaydn Ott and defensive back Craig Woodson met with reporters to look ahead to the upcoming 15 practices, discuss some of the new faces on the roster and much more.
