Matt began his career at Rivals in 2011 as recruiting editor and then publisher for Arizona affiliate, GOAZCATS.com. In 2022, he moved into an expanded role covering Pac-12 recruiting for Rivals.

Cal (2-2) is headed into its first home Pac-12 game of the season as Arizona State makes its way to Berkeley this weekend. Tuesday, head coach Justin Wilcox plus offensive coordinator Jake Spavital and defensive coordinator Peter Sirmon all met with reporters to review last Saturday's loss to Washington and look ahead to this week's matchup with the Sun Devils.
