WATCH: Cal QBs, several other players talk after second camp scrimmage
Cal's quarterback competition rolls on, and Saturday the group had another opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of the coaching staff.
Afterward, Sam Jackson V, Ben Finley and Fernando Mendoza all met with reporters on the 15th practice of training camp to discuss their thoughts on the second scrimmage and where things stand in the race for the starting job.

Cal's defense had a strong week, and outside linebacker David Reese was a big part of the success in recent practices. After Saturday's scrimmage, the newcomer from Florida met with reporters to discuss his continuing development, the overall progress for the defense and more.

Back over on the offensive side of the ball, Cal receiver Jeremiah Hunter was one of the standout performers in the second camp scrimmage highlighted by a big drive in which he had several yards after his catches.
We caught up with the top returning receiver for the Bears to discuss his day, and his recent string of success in this week's practices.
Fellow receiver Monroe Young, like Hunter, figures to be a big part of the offense this year. The veteran pass catcher has missed some time in camp but is getting back into the mix as the Bears will soon make their transition into game preparations.
Stanford transfer offensive lineman Barrett Miller has become more comfortable now a few weeks into his transition with the Bears. He has as much as experience as anyone on Cal's offensive line, and that has helped him move up the ranks as of late. He is now working with the first unit at left tackle, and we spoke with him about that and more after Saturday's practice.
