Cal continues its difficult stretch of games with two of the most talented teams in the Pac-12 beginning with No. 24 USC this Saturday. The Trojans are in the midst of a two-game skid, so the Bears could be catching them at the right time especially with an extra week to prepare for defending Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams and the USC offense.

Tuesday, head coach Justin Wilcox, defensive coordinator Peter Sirmon and offensive coordinator Jake Spavital spoke with reporters about the challenges facing the Bears on both sides of the ball heading into Saturday's matchup.

Meanwhile, Cal's coaches also worked to find way to correct any issues that came up during the first seven games of the season over the course of the bye week and they spoke about that as well Tuesday.
