Texas OLB Cameron Goode Commits to Cal

Cal received good news on Saturday when Klein Collins (Spring, Texas) outisde linebacker Cameron Goode announced his commitment via Twitter.

Goode becomes the nineteenth commitment overall in the 2016 class, and the eighth on the defensive side of the ball. He joins Georgia native Markus Wright as the second linebacker in the class.
As a junior in 2014, Goode earned First Team Defensive Honors for District 15-6A, which is chock full of talent. He was also named to the Academic All-District Team. He chose Cal over offers from Boston College, Iowa State, Kansas, Louisiana-Lafayette and Texas State.
At 6'3", 195 pounds, Goode is a rangy and long prospect. He registered a SPARQ score of 104.07 at the Houston Nike Combine.
Rivals currently rates Goode as a two-star (5.4) prospect.
