Riley is a big, 6-foot, 205-pound backstop in the mold of 2012 13th-round draft pick Chadd Krist, and projects as a middle-of-the-order right-handed power bat. Riley was at the top of Cal's board for the 2013 class, and has a strong arm as a former third baseman and pitcher.
