The Missouri, Texas product was offered by the Bears three weeks ago after Cal running backs coach Pierre Ingram and Mark Tommerdahl were both out to Fort Bend Austin to evaluate the 6'2", 209-pound junior.
Enwere made things official Monday evening, choosing the Bears over the likes of Kansas State, Tulsa, Missouri, Minnesota, Michigan State, Iowa State, Illinois, Duke, Colorado, and Virginia, among others.
Rivals' 53rd-ranked running back in the 2014 class, Enwere turned 191 carries into 1,208 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns in 2012. The first team all-district and District 23-5A offensive MVP also sports a 3.5 GPA.
He becomes the sixth member of Cal's 2014 class and the second running back, joining Corona Centennial's Tre Watson.
