Boise NUC top performers

BOISE, Idaho - The National Underclassmen Combine made a stop in Boise, Idaho, recently and attracted some of the top young prospects from out West.

Here is a look at some of the top performers from the combine.

Chris Badger, S, Provo (Utah) Timpview
COMBINE HIGHLIGHTS: Badger (5 feet 11.5, 183 pounds) was the DB MVP. Walker clocked a 4.51-second shuttle, had a 29-inch jump-stand verticle and an 8'6 broad jump.
Dylan Chynoweth, RB, Park City, Utah
COMBINE HIGHLIGHTS: Chynoweth (5-7.5/180) was the sophomore combine king. He had an outstanding 34-inch vertical, 9'3 broad jump and ran a 4.63 shuttle.
Paul Clark, RB, Salt Lake City (Utah) Judge Memorial
COMBINE HIGHLIGHTS: Clark was the RB MVP. The 5-8, 160-pound running back had a 30.5-inch jump-stand vertical while running a 4.58 in both the shuttle and 40.
Anthony Clarke, QB, Blackfoot, Idaho
COMBINE HIGHLIGHTS: Clarke (5-8/154) was the QB MVP. In addition to excelling in one-on-one drills, Clarke ran a 4.57 shuttle.
Dillon Lukehart, RB, Eagle, Idaho
COMBINE HIGHLIGHTS: Lukehart showed a ton of heart as he worked his tail off and was name freshman MVP. The 5-10.5, 172-pound running back had a 31-inch jump-stand vertical, 8'11 broad jump and ran a 4.44 shuttle.
Cody McCarthy, LB, Boise (Idaho) Bishop Kelly
COMBINE HIGHLIGHTS: McCarthy (5-11/190) was the LB MVP. McCarthy had a 31.5-inch jump-stand vertical, 8'6 broad jump, ran a 4.70 shuttle and bench pressed 135 pounds 31 times.
Kyler Shumway, DL, Cottonwood (Idaho) Prairie
COMBINE HIGHLIGHTS: Shumway took home the DL MVP. The 5-11.5, 247-pound lineman had a 30.5-inch jump-stand vertical, 8'7 broad jump, ran a 4.94 40 and bench pressed 185 lbs 14 times.
Matt Smith, OL, Great Falls (Mont.) C. M. Russell
COMBINE HIGHLIGHTS: Smith (6-0.5/244) was the combine's strongest man. Smith bench pressed 185 pounds 21 times and is a lineman that any QB would love to have on their front five.
Timothy St. Marie, OL, Mill Creek (Wash.) Jackson
COMBINE HIGHLIGHTS: St. Marie, a 6-0, 273-pound lineman was named the OL MVP. He excelled in one-on-one drills and displayed good quickness for a player his size as he ran a 5.05 shuttle.
Brody Swanson, QB, Shelley, Idaho
COMBINE HIGHLIGHTS: Swanson was crowned freshman combine king after a very good performance on the field. The 6-1, 198-pound quarterback had an 8'3 broad jump, ran a 4.66 shuttle and bench pressed 135 pounds 23 times.
Erik Walker, CB, Park City, Utah
COMBINE HIGHLIGHTS: Walker took home the combine MVP as well as the fastest man award. The 5-9.5, 160-pound cornerback had a phenomenal 35.5-inch jump-stand vertical and 9'5 broad jump while running a 4.5 in both the shuttle and the 40.
