According to a source within the California men's basketball team, the Bears will welcome back former player Theo Robertson this upcoming season as a graduate assistant.

During his career at Cal, Robertson amassed 102 starts in 125 games played, pulling down 483 rebounds, dishing out 259 assists and averaging 10.5 points per game en route to 1,315 total points.

In his senior season, Robertson was voted second-team All-Pac-10, as the Bears won the conference title for the first time in 50 years. His 45.3 three-point shooting percentage was the best in the Pac-10, and tied him for sixth all-time on the school's single-season list. Overall for his career, Robertson shot a program-record 44.0 percent from beyond the arc.

A graduate of Concord (Calif.) De La Salle, Robertson set school records for three-point shooting percentage and overall shooting percentage, finishing his high school career with 1,220 points and earning a Bay Valley Athletic League MVP award as a senior.

The former Social Welfare major spent last year as one of two Pac-12 Conference Fellows after admittance into the University of San Francisco's Sport Management graduate program.
