Marshawn Lynch's cousin takes official to Cal
Every word out of Dominique Harrison's mouth says he'll be an Oregon Duck.
"I just want to go to a place where I can come in, make an impact, and help the team win. I'm trying to win a national championship ... Oregon's facilities, they're so high tech over there and everything. Cal doesn't necessarily compare, but they're definitely high performance ... I always just, I knew about Oregon. Kinda one of my dream schools, being a JC dude, I don't have a lot of time, gotta make a move."
And yet Harrison -- an Oregon commit since June -- is still unsigned.
He was supposed to fax his LOI to Eugene on Sunday, instead though, he was in Berkeley, finishing off a three-day official visit.
So wait, he's been committed to the Ducks for six months and suddenly he's visiting another Pac-12 program?
"You know, just being a local guy, always been interested in them, and my cousin went there, so I wanted to see what it was like."
Oh that's right. Harrison is cousins with Cal's second all-time leading rusher: Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch.
And as if that wasn't curveball enough, there's this split-fingered, submarine-released, sliding sinkerball...
