Bruin scrimmage primer

If the scrimmage holds to form from previous spring practices then there will be something for everyone. This is the first spring in memory that one side of the ball isn't dominating the other. Both the defense and the offense are making plays.

This will be the biggest test of the spring for Kevin Prince. He has looked solid all spring long, but being good in practice is a carryover from last season, his problem was consistency and poise once the lights were on.

If Prince plays in this scrimmage like he has during practice, he will pass a small, but a mentally significant test. This could be Prince's first step toward a good sophomore season. Something to look for during today's scrimmage is how poised Prince is.
