It started early, really early. Some brought sleeping bags, others drearily staggered down the streets of an empty college town to arrive at Haas Pavilion four hours before most would rise. Nobody was quite sure how the whole process would go. This was ESPN College Gameday's first ever trip to Berkeley, and the renowned network rarely travels to the pacific time zone to cover anything basketball related.
